Following Amels largest superyacht Here Comes The Sun on her way, On 25 February the second 74-metre Amels 242 yacht emerged from the Dutch yacht builder’s yard in Vlissingen, the Netherlands.
Construction is progressing and delivery scheduled before the summer season.
AMELS announced the sale of the AMELS 242 yacht just before the Monaco Yacht Show 2015, with Antoine Larricq of Fraser representing the Owner.
The yacht is the second AMELS 242 from the Limited Editions range with an exterior design by Tim Heywood and the Owner’s choice of Winch Design for the custom interiors.
“This yacht will have a very different character to the first AMELS 242,” comments Amels Managing Director Rob Luijendijk.

The AMELS Limited Editions yacht features an expansive 240 square-metre dedicated Owner’s Deck (2,580 sq ft), while the elongated Main Deck aft’s 180 square metres (1,900 sq ft) make one big party area with bar, dance floor and a gorgeous 6.5-metre infinity pool (21 ft).
