Luxury motor yacht Chakra first launched in 1963 at Dutch yard Van Der Werf in Deest as an ocean weather ship for the Civil aviation authority in The Netherlands.
Chakra was converted into a superyacht at British yard Devonport Yachts (now Pendennis Shipyard) in 1998. This conversion included a total reconstruction of the yacht from the hull upwards, including new machinery.
The yacht underwent another three-month major refit in 2016 at SSH Maritime in Greece. Some notable appearances are the new hull paint, the swim platform at the stern and her extension, Chakra is 86-metre long including her 6-metre bowsprit.
Her Interior spaces feature yoga area, an aft deck spa pool on the bridge deck, massage room, beauty parlour, gym and a fully-stocked tender garage, which stores two RIBs, six Yamaha Wave Runners and a 12 metre Sessa dayboat.
